Learn & Protect

Awareness should not sit behind a paywall.

Learn & Protect is free and it always will be. Practical guides, red-flag checklists and short, human reads about how these crimes actually work. For anyone who wants to protect themselves or somebody they love.

In this library you will find how the main types of fraud are built, from romance and investment to impersonation and helpdesk calls. A checklist you can go through in five minutes before you send anything. What to say when you are worried about somebody. What to do in the first twenty-four hours if it has already happened. Where to report and what happens next. Twelve guides, all free to download and keep.

You do not need an account, a course or a reason. Read what you need and close the tab.

Almost every victim says the same thing afterwards, I should have seen it. They did not miss anything obvious. They were worked on, patiently and skilfully, by somebody who does this for a living. But nobody had ever shown them how it is done. So when it happened they blamed themselves and then went quiet.

That silence is the fraudsters best protection. It is also the one thing we can take away from them without anybody’s permission. So everything here stays free. Read it before, to recognise what is being done to you. Read it afterwards, to understand that it was not your fault. Read it for somebody you love, so that you know what to say to them.

Why it is free

Because shame is what keeps this crime working.

If you are struggling with your own safety, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country. These guides are information rather than support. They are not a substitute for talking to somebody.

If you are worried about someone

Start here, before you warn them.

This is the hardest one and the most common. Somebody you love is in something that is not what they think it is. Every warning you give seems to push them closer to the person doing it.

That is not stubbornness and it is not stupidity. It is how these relationships are built, which means the obvious approach usually backfires. There is a free guide for exactly this situation, written from the same material our professional module uses.
